Table Talk is a conversational game that helps you discuss challenging topics, create honest and safe communities, laugh with friends, encourage and support other people. Each of the six themes has 16 question cards in it, you can preview some of these questions below.


Home Life

Every home and family is different. Some homes will be quiet and others very noisy. Some families will be small and others large. You might get on with everyone you live with or you might argue a lot. Some of us live with members of our family and others might live with other people. Today we going to think and talk about our homes and families.

School Time

We spend a lot of time at school. Every year, we get older, learn more things, meet new teachers and make new friends. Some of us love school and others don’t. Some of us really enjoy the lessons and others love play times more. Today we are going to think and talk about school.

The World

We live on an awesome planet full of lots of wonderful animals and amazing places. Our world is a big place and we need to look after it. Sometimes it will feel exciting, and other times it can feel a little scary. There are lots of things for us to enjoy in the world around us. Today we are going to think about our world and how special it is.


Sometimes we are happy and other times we might feel down or sad. We all have different feelings and emotions, things that we worry about and things that we are looking forward to or enjoy. How we are feeling is sometimes called ‘well-being’. Today we are going to talk about well-being and how we can look after ourselves and others.


Friends are very important. Friends enjoy spending time with each other and doing things together. Some of us find making friends easy and some of us find it harder. Most of the time friends will get on well together, but sometimes they fall out. Today we are going to talk about friendship and explore what it means to be a good friend.


Imagine what life would be like without any mobile phones, computers, TVs or technology. It would be very different. Technology is an important part of our lives. However, we need to think about how we use it and how to keep ourselves safe. Today we are going to talk about technology and how we can get the best out of it.
